ABOUT THE AUTHOR K. L. Narasimha Murthy was born on September 1st , 1949, had his M.A. from Osmania University, Hyderabad and Ph.D. from Andhra University, Waltair in 1973 and 1985 respectively, worked as Junior Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Reader in Government College, Rajahmundry, Government College (W), Srikakulam and Government College (Men), Srikakulam as Principal in the year 2007. Received the best Teacher award from Government of Andhra Pradesh, in the year 1995 and also worked as NAAC co - ordinator, Government College (Women), Srikakulam during 2004-2005. Flood prone areas and Drought prone areas, Minor research projects were awarded by University Grants Commission, New Delhi and southern centre, University Grants Commission Hyderabad and also worked as Research Associate/ Consultant in centre for Economic and Social Studies (CESS) , Hyderabad , National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Rajendra Nagar, Hyderabad and as consultant in Urban Poverty Alleviation project in Regional Centre for Urabn and Environmental studies, Osmania University, Hyderabad and worked as research personnel in the School of Education, project (SOE) University College of Education, Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana State, India and an author of 18 books.
